I'm a proud first-generation American, avid hiker, educator, and media professional with a deep interest in the ethics of technology. I hold a CompTIA Security+ certification (COMP001022248168) and recently earned an M.A. in Information Security from Georgetown University, where I focused on security architecture and AI governance.

For my capstone, I used a Raspberry Pi 4 to simulate industrial environments and compare hardware-based encryption methods—such as secure boot and key management—with software-based encryption. I also have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, configuring firewall rules and port policies, and conducting security analysis with tools like Shodan, Wireshark, Nessus, and Nmap. I earned my B.A. from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and began my career in public policy, working on anti-corruption and rule of law development in Eastern Europe. My research has been cited in 10+ academic journals, including Journal of Regional Security and the Journal of International and Humanitarian Legal Studies. Additional information, here.

Previously, I founded P.A.V.P., a nonprofit oral history project that conducted interviews with over 25 local combat veterans. More here.
